Power System Studies

Power System Solutions has the expertise to provide Arc-flash incident energy analysis, protective device coordination analysis, fault current analysis, motor starting analysis, harmonic analysis and cable ampacity studies. We use the latest software packages that comply with all IEEE standards and have the experience to provide and implement any recommendations included in our studies. Does your facility have abnormal electrical behavior such as flickering lights or mysterious equipment failures? If so, PSS can isolate the issue to the root cause of the problem and provide a solution.

Preventive Maintenance

One of the least costly ways to get a pulse on the condition of your electrical distribution system is to perform an annual Infrared Scan of all of your critical equipment. PSS uses state of the art thermographic cameras and sound engineering judgement to locate potential failure points in the electrical distribution system. Once the issue is identified PSS has the know-how to repair or replace the system component so that the system can continue to operate as intended. Keep your electrical distribution equipment working reliably and predictably by having our experts survey your facility.

Turnkey Projects

One of the main differences that PSS can offer our customers is the fact that we eliminate the need for an owner to deal with multiple contractors. For a facility owner, managing engineers, contractors and distributors can make for a very time consuming and frustrating effort. The worst part is that the effort may not yield a fully functional system as intended by the owners engineer. Misunderstandings in communication between the owners engineer and the contractor are costly and more common than people think. Since, PSS has all of the expertise in house we can execute the precise vision of the owner and provide a quick and efficient execution of the project.
